For many years now, the Kappa Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated has brought joy to under privileged families on Christmas Day through our annual Holiday Toy Drive. The Holiday Toy Drive is not just about the gifts that children receive under their tree. It is about the gift of hope and wishes fulfilled. Not only do we strive to provide toys for children in the preschool to middle school age range, but we try to accommodate few high school freshmen as well. We feel that this is an age group are frequently forgotten by donors and are hard-to-fill categories for local campaigns.
The toys that you purchase can also be donated in support of the Toy Drive. The day to drop off the toys is Saturday, December 17th at our Fraternity House located at 1231 Harvard Street, NW, Washington, D.C. On that Saturday, we will host our Holiday Social Gathering (12pm to 5pm) as we welcome all friends and family to help wrap gifts and enjoy the holiday. We will distribute the toys and gift cards on Monday, December 21st.
The Kappa Psi Chapter would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our friends and family participating in the Christmas Toy Drive each year. Thanks also to Dr. William Montague Cobb Education Foundation, Target and five below who lend significant support to the program.
We encourage and welcome you to be a part of the annual Holiday Toy Drive by donating to the Dr. William Montage Cobb Education Foundation (Found Here).
